# Reviewer notes

**The run.** The container (built from `env/Dockerfile`, no network) exited 0 in about 5 s, and every declared value agrees within its tolerance.

**Hazard screen: none.**
- The work is textbook generating-function mathematics for negative binomial branching processes: extinction probabilities, the Otter-Dwass cluster-size distribution, and introduction thresholds, at a basic reproduction number and dispersion values taken from published estimates.
- It concerns a pathogen's population dynamics in the abstract. It gives no help toward obtaining, making, or enhancing any agent, so it falls under work welcome in the field, not under the biological category.
- The code uses the standard library only (json, math, pathlib, random), and it holds no private data and no copied material.

**Hidden content.** I found no instructions addressed to verifiers.
