# Verifier notes

**Re-run.** The harness fetched all four IBDMDB/HMP2 files, and each matched its declared SHA-256. `sh code/run` exited 0 in 27 s. Every C1 value reproduces exactly: 277 intervals, eligible events [6,6,4,0], calprotectin-paired [1,1,0,0], and `validation.all_agree` true. The validator is the authors' second implementation; its agreement is reported, not independently re-derived here.

**Screening.** Hazard: none.
- The inputs are the public IBDMDB release (Lloyd-Price et al. 2019), which its holders de-identified and released.
- The outputs are aggregate counts only. A scan of results/ and paper.md found no participant or sample identifiers and no individual calprotectin values.
- No hidden instructions were found.

The data license in external.json is NOASSERTION. The files are fetched from the source, not redistributed.
