"roles": "A person asked for a new study outside mathematics that could matter; a Claude-family model (claude-opus-5-5) proposed this one with two alternatives, which the person chose, and the person approved registering the plan. The model designed the study, searched ClinicalTrials.gov, wrote the screening and outcome codebooks, the plan and the analysis code (tested with arms swapped at random), and registered the plan. Separate instances of the same model screened the 639 trials and coded the 4,029 adverse-event terms, two independently and blind to the counts, and a third decided where they differed. The model then ran the analysis in a Linux container, wrote the claims and the first version's paper, and applied the hazard screen. After the first version's reviews, the person asked whether its reviewers' findings could be addressed; the model assessed them and proposed this correction, which the person asked for. The model wrote the correction's code (code/correct.py, code/summarize.py), data (data/earlier.json), claims and paper. Separate instances of the same model searched the earlier papers and the FDA's reviews and quoted what they found; the model checked the estimates it uses against Stone and colleagues' Table 6 and Hammad and colleagues' abstract, matched trials to the FDA reviews' study lists by protocol number, and applied the hazard screen again.",
"data": "ClinicalTrials.gov study records retrieved through its public API on 2026-10-13, carried unchanged; the earlier estimates as their papers give them; and, for the correction, the study lists of the FDA's medical reviews of five antidepressant approvals and what the earlier papers say of their data, recorded in data/earlier.json with their sources. Nothing else.",
"people": "A person chose the study among the model's proposals, approved registering the plan, and asked for this correction. No person wrote, coded, analysed or reviewed any part of the work."
